Questions: Do you agree with David Grossman? Explain why or why not.
- I think David Grossman had given his strong opinion against violent video games and violent TV shows. For me, I agree with most of David Grossman opinion. I agreed with his ideas about how kids who watched violent TV and played violent games are similar to soldiers in training. I agreed with that because they are both taught to kill people and believe that the world is a bad and dark place. I also agreed when he said violent TV shows and games are desensitizing their viewer and make their viewer non-feeling person. I also like his point about how bad messages are delivered through violent games. Most of them tell us that we could kill people whenever we want or could use violence to solve problems. For example, in some parts of the world, students started going into schools and start shooting randomly at people. In a game, doing that is just normal but in the real world, it will left a huge effects and causes many tragedies. I also agreed with the idea that media companies should be subject to the same criticism as tobacco companies. Because they also cause addiction and might damage a child's life if they are too in to it and don't know what is right and what is wrong. A game might cause too much addiction that children could stop studying and used those times playing game, their life afterwards will result as a waste because they don't know anything to do instead of things in the games. So, I think David Grossman's points should be delivered to many people so the world could be better and better everyday. :)

Games
Question: Should twelve and thirteen year olds be able to play any video game they want?
- For me, I think twelve and thirteen year olds can't play any video video game they want. I think they should only be able to play games that are appropriate for them. Sometimes, games that are not for their ages might contain certain things that they shouldn't see or do. For example, a game for sixteen years old might contain killing and violence, for the age of sixteen they already know what is right for them to do, so the probabilities of them killing someone is very little. But for twelve or thirteen years old, they are still too young to realize what is right and what is wrong, they still have the thoughts that if they could kill someone in a video game, they definitely could do the same thing in the real world. The probability of a twelve or thirteen years old try to do the same with the game is much higher than the people of the game's target. In conclusion, I think twelve and thirteen years old shouldn't be allow to play whatever game they want.

The Carpet Boy's Gift Homework
- I think this is a really good story, although it is short but very brief and contain many important details. This book is very useful because all adults and children can read this book, this book is short but when people read it, they will understand more about what is happening for the children in Pakistan.
After reading this book, I know more about child labor in Pakistan. I feel very sad for them since they are the same age with me but they have to work hard just to earn a little money for their family or most of them doesn't get anything. Reading this story, also make me feel angry because there are certain people that is acting against the law but no one is stopping them. Also, the people that stand for the goods got killed without any argument. I also wish I could do something to help them, because I know a little thing can change a lot to their life. I hope one day all the owner who used child labor will have to pay for what they did
- In this story, the owner violated many law for children. But I think there are a few most important ones. The first one is "Every child should have the right to play and rest". This law was violated the most since the owner forced all the children to do from early morning till very late at night. I think the law that said "Every child shouldn't have to be punished physically or mentally for what they have done". The owner violated since after he know about the resistance, he locked Nadeem in a room.

My favorite Song
I have many favorite songs but one of them is "Always find your way back home"
I like this song for two reasons. First of all, it is because of its melody; it is strong but really gentle at the same time. Secondly, I like it because of the message it brings to all of the listeners "You will always find your way back home". It wants to tell us that no matter who you are in the world, when you come back to the family, they accept you for who you are, they know the real you. Home will welcome us whether we are successful, popular or even if we are a failure to everyone else. It will be the place that you can always count on and for everyone you could forget lots of things but you can't never forget your family, your origin.

Questions for Madam and the Rent Man
1. I think they said "So we agrees" at the end because they were both unhappy about something. The Madam was mad because the landlord didn't keep his promise to fix broken things in her house. The rent man was unpleasant too because the Madam didn't give him the monthly payment and she was shouting at his face for things that he was not responsible for.
2. I think the first message is "Respect the Poor", although the Madam is poor but she is a human like all of us and she deserved to live in a nice, not a wrecked and all broken one. Don't think that you can do anything you do to them when you are a rich person. When you do so, others will despise you. The other message is to "Keep your promises". Don't be like the landlord to promise all those thing and then leave the Madam to live in that old house. It is really important to keep your promise, if you don't, others won't respect you and they will never believe in the words you say.
3. He used playful language such as "Howdy do?" to show that he was happy when he first came to the house. Then the Madam say "I'd go to Hades and rot away" to express her anger. The phrase "So We Agrees" when you first look at it, you might think the poet had a grammar mistake. But he did that on purpose to show that the Madam is poor and have less education so she doesn't know lots about grammars. He also used descriptive words to show you how angry the woman was.
